Located on the River Tagus, Lisbon is full of life, color and fascinating places. We see Belem Tower and St. Anthony’s birthplace, the longest bridge in Europe and the impressive 300 ft high statue of Christ the King. We then depart for Santarem to venerate the Miracle of the Eucharist. Continue to Fatima where we enjoy a late dinner. Every night there is the beautiful candlelight procession that you will want to attend. (D.)

After breakfast meet in the lobby and walk to the site of apparitions for a prayerful orientation. We visit the Chapel of Apparitions, the main Basilica, tombs of Blessed Jacinta and Blessed Francisco, the Adoration Chapel, and the Miraculous Fountain. In the afternoon our bus will take us to the parish Church where the visionaries were baptized and here today we will have our Holy Mass. We will visit the cemetery, their homes in Aljustrel and perhaps meet their close relatives. We go to Valinhos where we will visit places where the Angel appeared and the Shrine where the Holy Virgin appeared in August. We’ll see the outdoor Stations erected by the Americans and the beautiful Shrine of the Crucification built on the highest point by Hungarian refugees. (B.D.)
