DAY 1: DEPART USA

You’ll depart on an overnight flight to Lourdes.

DAY 2: LOURDES

Welcome to France. Upon arrival at the great pilgrimage center of Lourdes, you are transferred to the hotel. After dinner participate in the Candlelight Procession, joining pilgrims from all over the world. Overnight Lourdes. (D.)

DAY 3: LOURDES

The day starts with Mass, followed by a walking tour of Lourdes. In the afternoon you view the video on the messages of Lourdes, followed by a visit to the Healing Baths, where you bathe in the Miraculous Waters. You will also have the opportunity to join the Blessing of the Sick and the Blessed Sacrament Procession. (B.D.)

DAY 4/5: LOURDES

These days are reserved for prayer, meditation, praying the Stations of the Cross, and Eucharist devotion. (B.D.)

DAY 6: LOURDES-PARIS

After Mass this morning take the TGV train or a short flight to Paris. In the afternoon see the highlights of Paris, including the Notra Dame Cathedral, St. Vincent De Paul, Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde, Madeline Church, and more. Overnight in Paris. (B.)

DAY 7: PARIS- NEVERS

Today travel to Nevers, to visit the convent of St. Gildard where St. Bernadette’s incorrupt body reposes and may be viewed. After she was blessed with eighteen apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Lourdes, St. Bernadette retired to Nevers. She received the religious habit in 1866. Celebrate Mass at the Convent and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon return to Paris for overnight. (B.L.)

DAY 8: PARIS- LISIEUX

{mosimage} Travel northwest to the home of St. Theresa “ The Little Flower”. Visit the Basilica, and the Carmelite Chapel, where St. Theresa’s body lies. In 1997 the Holy Father proclaimed the Saint a “Doctor of the Church”, and thus she joins only two other female saints, who have received this high honor. Celebrate Mass at the Basilica and tour places associated with St. Theresa’s life. On the way back to Paris, time permitting, we stop at the Sacra Coeur Cathedral in the Artist’s Quarter, overlooking all of Paris. (B.)

DAY 9: RETURN TO THE U.S.A.

This morning we attend Mass at the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal at Rue De Bac, containing the incorrupt body of St. Catherine Laboure. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home. (B.)
