Join Fr. Angel and Fr. Israel on Pilgrimage Under Mary’s Mantle

Father Israel Perez-Lopez and Father Angel Perez-Lopez, who serve together at St. Cajetan Catholic Parish in Denver, Father Israel as pastor and Father Angel assisting regularly with the 10:30 Sunday Mass, offer a clear example of a brotherly bond lived out in shared ministry.  Born in Spain into a Catholic family, each discerned a priestly vocation through distinct paths: Father Angel felt called as a child but later pursued other plans before a period of reflection led him to enter seminary in Denver in 1996, while Father Israel recognized his vocation early, shaped by his family’s experience during a high-risk pregnancy and a lifelong sense of being set apart for God. Though their vocations developed independently, their shared priesthood eventually strengthened their relationship, including an unexpected overlap in studies in Rome and later service in the same parish.
