DAY 1: DEPART U.S.A.
We leave this evening on an overnight flight to Warsaw.
DAY 2: WARSAW
Welcome to Poland. We are met by our tour director and transferred to our hotel. Afternoon is at leisure to become acclimated to a new time zone. Tonight we have a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight Warsaw. (D.)
DAY 3: WARSAW
Afternoon sightseeing of Poland’s capital, the Old Town, Market Place, Lazienska Park, Chopin Monument, Royal Castle, the residence of the Polish King, St. Stanislaw Kostka Church and the 14th century Cathedral of St. John. Overnight Warsaw. (B.D.)
DAY 4: NIEPOKALANOW – SWINCE WARCKIE
We depart early this morning to visit the Basilica of the Virgin Mary, and the Franciscan Monastery founded by St. Maximillian Kolbe. We continue to Swince Warckie to see the Church of St. Casmir where St. Faustina was baptized. Time permitting, we visit Plock where Sr. Faustina worked and where Jesus and Mary appeared to her. Then we travel to Czestochowa for an overnight. Overnight in Czestochowa (B.D.)
DAY 5: CZESTOCHOWA-AUSCHWITZ
Today’s journey takes you to Jasna Gora near Czestochowa, the monastery that withstood the repeated onslaught of overwhelming Swedish Forces during the religious wars of the 17th century. Since then its Black Madonna is venerated as the “Queen of Poland” and has become the country’s national symbol. Visit the Pauline Monastery with its priceless treasures, including the Miraculous Icon. We continue our journey to Auschwitz to see the former Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, the biggest factory of death in the history of humanity and the silent witness of human tragedy.

DAY 6: KRAKOW – WIELICZKA SALT MINES
Morning sightseeing of ancient Krakow. Which, for centuries, has been the residence of the Polish Kings. See the Market Square, the 14th Century University, Wawel Hill including the Cathedral and the Royal Castle. Among the inspirational sights we see today is the St. Stanislaus Shrine, which contains the silver coffin of Poland’s famous patron saint. After seeing Holy Cross Chapel, the Cathedral Chapel, and the Sigismund Chapel we go to St. Mary’s Church where we can hear the silver trumpet call every hour. In the afternoon we tour the Wieliczka Salt Mines, which have been in use for over 700 years and contain many fascinating statues, chapels and reliefs all carved from salt. Overnight Krakow. (B.D.)
DAY 7: WADOWICE- KRAKOW
Our motorcoach takes us to Wadowice, birthplace of the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II. We explore the Bernardine Monastery with 43 Chapels honoring the Way of the Cross, the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary & Seven Sorrows in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. We return to Krakow for an afternoon at leisure. Overnight Krakow. (B.D.)
DAY 8: DIVINE MERCY
Full day for a visit to the Shrine of Divine Mercy, Sr. Faustina’s convent chapel, and her tomb in Lagiewniki. We celebrate Mass at the Shrine. Overnight Krakow. (B.D.)
DAY 9: RETURN TO THE U.S.A.
Transfer to airport for your flight back home. (B)
