Day 3May 20–21, 2026
FATIMA
+

After breakfast, we begin our visit to Fatima, which includes the Basilica, the site of the graves of Francesco and Jacinta, the Village of Aljustrel, where the children lived, and Valinhos, the site of Our Lady’s appearance after the children’s return from prison. We experience Christ’s love as we walk and follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Sacra (The Sacred Way), culminating in the Chapel of Calvary, which overlooks all of Fatima. We join with pilgrims from around the world as we pray for the sick and drink water from the miraculous well. We attend the blessing of the sick and participate in nightly candlelight processions. Mass at Chapel of Apparitions. Dinner and overnight in Fatima.

Day 5May 22, 2026
SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
+

Early this morning, we depart from Fatima to Santiago de Compostela. Our day is devoted to St. James the First Pilgrim as we walk through the narrow streets of the historical district that will lead us to the Cathedral of Santiago. We celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. James, visit the Saint’s tomb, the Archbishop’s Palace, the monumental Plaza Del Obradoiro surrounded by granite works of art, and the charming medieval old quarter. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela.

Day 6May 23, 2026
O’ CEBREIRO – LEON
+

We depart Santiago early this morning, stopping to see the village of O’ Cebreiro, a small hamlet showcasing the traditional rural architecture and the pre-Roman church of Santa Maria la Real. We journey to Leon, with its many impressive buildings, such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria. The Cathedral of Leon is well known worldwide for its impressive stained glass windows, similar to those in Chartres Cathedral. Other buildings we will find in Leon are: Casa Botines, built by the famous architect Antoni Gaudí, who designed the Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona; the Royal Collegiate of San Isidoro; and the former pilgrim hospital and monastery of San Marcos. We are bound for the Basilica Menor de La Virgen del Camino, which houses the image of “Our Lady of the Way,” where we celebrate Mass. Dinner and overnight in Leon.

Day 7May 24, 2026
OVIEDO – COVADONGA
+

After breakfast, we board our motorcoach and head to Oviedo. The Sudarium of Oviedo and the Shroud of Turin are two relics, both attributed to Jesus Christ, that have been the subject of extensive scientific and historical study. They are both believed to have been in contact with Jesus’ body after his death, and a number of coincidences and correlations have been observed between the two. The bloodstained piece of cloth housed in the Cathedral of San Salvador, Oviedo, Spain, is believed to be the cloth that covered the head of Jesus Christ after his death, as mentioned in the Gospel of John (20:6-7). Unlike the Shroud of Turin, the Sudarium does not bear a discernible image. Its primary significance lies in the bloodstains and fluid marks consistent with those of a crucified individual. We visit the cathedral where we celebrate Mass. Dinner and overnight in Covadonga.

Day 8May 25, 2026
COVADONGA
+

Today, we see the royal Marian Shrine of Covadonga (Our Lady of the Cave). At this site in the Picos de Europa Mountains, we see the 20th-century basilica opposite an older cave shrine, with a waterfall descending from beneath it. The cathedral cloister includes photographs of royal visits and parades in Covadonga in 1918, when the statue was crowned; its importance lies in its association with Spain as a Christian nation. In this sacred spot, we celebrate Mass. Dinner and overnight in Covadonga.

Day 9May 26, 2026
GARABANDAL
+

Today, our journey takes us to Garabandal, where we will spend the next three nights. We will meet with villagers who witnessed the apparitions and spend time with our host, Ann, of Divine Will Institute and Retreat Centre. Ann moved to Garabandal from the USA and will be our host during our stay in the village. Mass will be celebrated. Dinner and overnight stay in Garabandal.
