We gather at the airport in Denver for a group flight to Mexico City. Quotes for add-on flights from most domestic airports, as well as premium economy and business class, are available upon request. We work with group airfares, which do not permit seat selection. If you wish to reserve specific seats on the flights, we recommend purchasing your own airline ticket and the land-only option with us. Day 2January 15
GUADALUPAN JUBILEE AT OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE – PYRAMIDS OF THE SUN AND THE MOON
+

This morning, we enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. From October 12, 2026 to Oc tober 12, 2027, the Holy Father, Pope Leo, has granted a Guadalupan Jubilee Year to commemorate the 50th anniversary of October 12, 1976, dedication of the new Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We have a chance to walk through the Holy Door at the Basilica and receive a Plenary Indulgence. Our first stop of the day is the Church of Santiago Tlatelolco, where St. Juan Diego was baptized, then we visit the Shrine, and have time to see the Tilma, where Our Lady’s image was miraculously imprinted, and visit the El Pocito (Chapel of the Little Well) and the site of the original apparition. We celebrate Mass and have time to explore the gardens on our own. In the afternoon, we depart for San Juan Teotihuacan, where we have lunch followed by a guided tour of the archaeological site of the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. Before we return to our hotel, we stop to see the Church of the Fifth Apparition. Dinner and overnight in Mexico City.

Day 3January 16
PUEBLA
+

This morning we have a very early departure for Puebla – City of the Angels and Churches, the fourth largest city in México and a great example of Spanish colonial architecture. The Puebla region is famous for its beautiful churches, its cuisine, and the hand-painted “Talavera” tiles. We visit the unforgettable Chapel of the Rosary to celebrate Mass and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (TBC). We enjoy visits to the Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church, the Santa Monica religious museum. We also visit the Biblioteca Palafoxiana, founded in 1646. The delicious Mole Poblano and Chiles en Nogada have their origins here in Puebla. Tradition tells us that a nun at the Santa Rosa Convent in Puebla invented the recipe for the mole in the 17th century when she heard of the impending visit of Juan de Palafox, Viceroy of New Spain and Archbishop of Puebla. Today for lunch, we try a local Poblano dish. We return to Mexico City for dinner and overnight.
