We board our motorcoach and continue to Lanciano to see the Host of Flesh, which remains intact and retains the original dimensions. The actual spot of the miracle is located beneath the present-day tabernacle of the Church of St. Francis. The Eucharistic miracle is preserved in the second tabernacle, located on the high altar. The Host, now changed to Flesh, is contained in a silver Monstrance. The wine, now changed to Blood, is contained in a crystal chalice. This is also a pilgrimage place to Our Lady of Mercy. In the afternoon, we continue to Loreto to see the Holy House of Nazareth, which, tradition tells us, was transported here from the Holy Land. In it we can view the most reproduced Madonna in the world, the Black Madonna of Loreto. Here we join in the celebration of Mass. Overnight in Loreto.

Unsurpassed in beauty, a monument to the long history of the Catholic Church, which draws pilgrims from around the world, St. Peter’s is the grandest of the world’s churches. Our visit is accompanied by headsets, allowing each pilgrim to benefit from a clear explanation of what they are seeing. We also visit the Scavi Tunnels (TBC) located under the Basilica.
