Join Beth and Maurice Lee on a Pilgrimage  to Greece

Beth and Maurice have been doing ministry together for most of their married life, first with college students at the Chinese Evangelical Free Church in Monterey Park, CA, then with church and fellow Grad Students at Yale, to neighbors and college students at Westmont College, at the church they started on Westmont’s campus, and now at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Abington, PA. 

 

Beth and her brother John grew up listening to their father tell the story of how he met their mother in Athens, Greece, while she was a missionary and he was a graduate student with a year long fellowship to study in Greece. They were married at the Second Evangelical Church in Athens. Both parents are with the Lord now, but we hope to worship at the church where they were married. We’d be glad to tell you some of their story!

 

When a few friends heard that Beth (and Maurice) and John (and Sharon) were planning a trip to Greece in honor of their parents, they asked to come along. Beth (a former travel agent) started dreaming of a tour that would combine sightseeing with spiritual growth: a pilgrimage. Maurice will provide a simple daily prayer service, optional, whether morning or evening as fits the schedule.
