Area Sales-Marketing Specialist

We are looking for multiple candidates with a strong sense of urgency and integrity to help identify and market our business through direct means in key markets. The Marketing Specialists will engage clergy and Diocesan leaders through direct mail, phone, and email communication, and in-person meetings to introduce Select International Tours’ pilgrimage opportunities with the Goal of connecting interested parties with our in-house sales team. This position reports directly to the Marketing and Client Relations Manager.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work, uninterrupted, at least 16 hours per week
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience working in the church, and/or marketing and sales is a plus

Travel Account Manager

Are you fastidious, an excellent communicator, and looking to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment? Do you enjoy working with people from around the country and around the world?

Job Duties

Travel Account Managers work directly with our clients and suppliers on a daily basis. You will manage all aspects of a trip from inception to culmination. Your work will be challenging, demanding, and rewarding. You are the critical frontline for our business.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Communicate daily with Clients, travelers, suppliers, and ground services through email, phone, and mail
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and partners
  • Research and develop itineraries for several groups simultaneously
  • Proofread and edit brochures, contracts, and marketing materials that support your groups
  • Update spreadsheets, databases, and registration software with confidential, financial and non-financial information
  • Tracking and reporting on registrations, reservations, tickets, events, payments, etc.
  • Being an on-call primary point-of-contact while groups are traveling
  • Occasional International travel for FAM trips, site inspections, or to accompany groups

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the travel industry
  • Public speaking experience
  • Account Management experience in the travel industry an advantage
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organized detail-oriented team player with a customer-service approach
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, G-Suite, and online applications (CRM tools, registration systems, etc.)
  • Exquisite communication and people skills
  • Ability to travel internationally (Passport required)

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position in our office in Flemington, NJ.
