In addition to her parish and Diocesan involvement, she is active in the local community with food security efforts, disaster recovery and the arts. She enjoys reading, hiking, baking and can often be found in the local quilt store collecting fabric to use for her hobby of quilt making. He came to his priestly vocation later in life and was ordained in 2011 and now is seventy six years old. He has two wonderful adult sons who enjoy telling their friends “what their Dad does for a living!”. Fr. Ed’s experience as a combat veteran in Vietnam in 1969 led to his ministry to the veteran population. He gives retreats for veterans and their families at San Luis Rey and works with men and women who have PTSD and who suffer from Moral Injury. Fr. Ed looks forward to leading this pilgrimage to Italy and is particularly excited to be visiting Assisi.
