Join Catherine Druhan on Pilgrimage
Catherine Druhan is a graduate of Spring Hill College and a former Catholic school teacher. She worked closely with Fr. Viscardi for six years as Division Secretary for the Department of Philosophy and Theology at Spring Hill and is currently the Registrar at Alabama School of Math and Science. She and her husband, Michael, live on Mobile Bay in Southern Alabama and are parents to two college-age children. She recently joined Select as a group pilgrimage planner to help more people experience the grace of pilgrimage. Fr. Christopher J. Viscardi, S. J.
Fr. Christopher J. Viscardi, S.J., has taught theology at Spring Hill College, in Mobile, Alabama, since 1979. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1967 and then entered the New Orleans Province of the Society of Jesus. He was ordained priest in 1976 and completed his doctorate in theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome in 1980, at the Institute of Spirituality. He joined the theology faculty at Spring Hill College in 1979 and has worked with the Archdiocese of Mobile’s Hispanic Ministry since 1983. For the past twenty years he has also served as director of Spring Hill’s Certificate of Spiritual Direction program. For the future he hopes to complete his work on a history of the Catholic and Jesuit mission of Spring Hill College, from 1830 to the present, based on his sabbatical research in the Jesuit archives of Rome, Paris, New Orleans and Spring Hill College.Â
