Join Fr. John Thomas Lane on Pilgrimage
A vowed religious of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament for over 37 years and ordained over 33, Father Lane pastors his home parish, The Roman Catholic Community of Saint Paschal Baylon, Highland Heights, OH and the Provincial Superior of his religious order for the USA Province of Saint Ann. He wrote a pastoral liturgy column for Emmanuel Magazine for 24 years and gives workshops and retreats about the liturgy and the Eucharist.
Additionally, Fr. Lane has written for many publications over the years (Today’s Liturgy, AIM, Modern Liturgy, America Media etc.), including LTP’s Sourcebook 2012, 2013 & 2017 editions and authored Guide for Celebrating Worship of the Eucharist Outside of Mass and Daily Prayer 2019 and second edition in 2025 also for LTP.
He served as his religious order’s vocation minister for 15 years and has picked up that position again as provincial, and served on SWLC’s board for 17 years. He has degrees in music, education, divinity and liturgy and taught liturgy at Ursuline College (Pepper Pike, OH) and served as Diocesan Director of Liturgy for the Diocese of Salt Lake City. He has been a pastor for 26 years, also serving in Albuquerque, NM and Houston, TX.
