Join Fr. Matthew Johnston on Pilgrimage
My name is Fr. Matthew Johnston. I am a priest for the Archdiocese of New Orleans and was ordained in 2014. I am the pastor of St. Benilde Church in Metairie, La, serve as a Canon Lawyer in the position of the defender of the Bond for the Archdiocesan Tribunal, and in the process of joining the National Guard as an Army Chaplain. I love to go on pilgrimage. As I always tell people, “if you could choose one place to visit in the world during your life, make it the Holy Land.” It is truly a life changing pilgrimage in which the scriptures come to life as we walk in the footsteps of Jesus.
