Join Fr. Salvador Sanchez on Pilgrimage

Fr. Salvador Sanchez was born and raised in Guanajuato, Mexico. He comes from a very Catholic family, and fondly remembers singing very loudly in Mass and asking his Grandma to read him scripture when he was young. He was a young boy when he heard his calling to the priesthood.

Father attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary in Texcoco, Mexico for two years before he entered St. Mary Seminary in Morelia, Mexico for three years. He finished his seminary studies at St. John Vianney College Seminary in Denver and was ordained to the priesthood on May 14, 2016.

Father’s first parish assignment was at St. Peter in Greeley, then Our Lady of the Mountains in Estes Park, followed by St. Claire of Assisi in Edwards. He became pastor of St. Mary of the Crown/St. Vincent Parish in July of 2021.
