Join Silas Henderson on Pilgrimage
Father Silas Henderson is a member of the Society of the Divine Savior (the Salvatorians), and he currently serves as the Vicar-Provincial for the United States Province of the Salvatorian Priests and Brothers. Beyond his work for his religious community, Father Silas is also the associate pastor of Milwaukee’s “Family of Four Parishes”, the chaplain of Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in Milwaukee, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Conference of Major Superiors of Men. He holds an Ecumenical Doctor of Ministry Degree in liturgy from Catholic Theological Union of Chicago and a Masters in Theological Studies from St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in St. Meinrad, Indiana. An educator and retreat leader who has presented across the United States and in Italy, Spain, and Tanzania, he is the author of four books, and his reflections and articles on the liturgy, spirituality, and discipleship have appeared in a variety of prominent Catholic publications in the United States and Great Britain.
Our Pilgrimage Coordinator: Deacon Tom Hunt
Ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in 2000 and received my Certificate for Pastoral Services from St Francis Seminary, Milwaukee, WI, that same year. I was certified by the American Catholic Correctional Chaplains’ Association in 2006, ministered as a Volunteer Chaplain at the Milwaukee County Jail for over 25 years, and now have the privilege of walking side by side with families of the incarcerated, based at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, where I am currently serving as a deacon. I am also co-chair of our commission, in partnership with our sister parish, La Sagrada Familia, at the Cathedral in the Dominican Republic. I have been a member of the Lay Salvatorian – USA, International Community of the Divine Savior for over 31 years.
