Patty has 12 years of ministerial experience. Most recently, she serves as a Ministry Formation Manager with Ascension Michigan. Patty writes online in several different spaces and travels both locally and nationally, speaking at conferences and leading retreats. Finding people where life finds them, she uses the art of storytelling to connect to their hearts. Patty enjoys CrossFit, axe throwing, and loving on her Godchildren, nieces, and nephew.

Fr. Jake VanAssche is the Spiritual Director on this Trip
Fr. Jacob VanAssche was ordained for the Archdiocese of Detroit in 2015 and is now serving as a Family-Pastor for the South Oakland Vicariate Family 3 (Sacred Heart, St. Damien of Molokai, St. Hugo of the Hills, St. Thomas More). The youngest of nine children, Fr. Jake enjoys woodworking and shooting sporting clays in his free time. His greatest inspiration as a priest is seeing the hunger for God in his parish, which calls him onto greater personal holiness.
