Join the Society of the Holy Child Jesus on a Pilgrimage to England
The Society of the Holy Child Jesus was founded by Venerable Cornelia Connelly in Derby, England, in 1846. This unique Pilgrimage to England coincides with the feast of St. Edward the Confessor, October 13, and the feast of St. Teresa of Avila, October 15, the date observed as the formal founding of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus.
Cornelia experienced unexpected detours and obstacles in her family life, as a woman in the Church, and in society. Throughout her life, Cornelia’s spirit was independent, resourceful, and courageous. Our journey to England will provide insightful information on a woman on the path to Beatification and transport us back to nineteenth-century England.
We are grateful to have Select International as our partner in our faith-based and educational pilgrimage to England.
