Join Paul Kingsnorth on Pilgrimage

Paul Kingsnorth is an award-winning novelist, poet and essayist. He is the author of ten books, including the Booker Prize-longlisted novel The Wake and the recent New York Times bestseller Against The Machine. His books have been translated into over a dozen languages. A former journalist, he has written for newspapers and magazines around the world. He is co-founder of the Dark Mountain Project, an international network of writers and artists.

 

Paul lives in rural Ireland with his wife and children and a collection of ducks, chickens, bees and trees. He was baptised into the Orthodox Church in 2021. He has spent many years since then exploring the haunts of the ancient Irish saints across the landscape, and speaking about Christianity, past and present, around the world. His next book – The Book of Wild Saints – will be published in September 2027.
