Join Deacon Kevin Stephenson on Pilgrimage
Deacon Kevin and Monica Stephenson have been married since Kevin’s conversion to the Catholic faith in April 2009. Together they are blessed with a blended family of six children, including two they share together, and nine grandchildren. Kevin was ordained to the permanent diaconate in 2020 and serves the Church with a heart for evangelization and pastoral care. He is also a board-certified Catholic chaplain and a Licensed Professional Counselor at Laureate Psychiatric Hospital, where he integrates compassionate care with his vocation of accompanying others through life’s challenges. Monica serves as Music Director at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church and has dedicated many years to faith formation and family life, including homeschooling their two youngest children.
Their shared faith journey has been shaped by Kevin’s conversion from an evangelical background and a deep love for the richness of the Catholic tradition. They are excited to make this pilgrimage to Italy to walk where the saints walked, visit sites sanctified by the witness of the martyrs, and experience firsthand the history and beauty of the Church. They look forward to growing in faith alongside fellow pilgrims and returning home inspired by the enduring legacy of those who have faithfully followed Christ throughout the centuries.
