Join Heather Tieman on Pilgrimage

Heather Tieman was born and raised in southeast Iowa and brings a deep love of faith, learning, and global culture to everything she does. A former Faith Formation Director, Heather blends her background in faith formation with an extensive academic and professional foundation. She holds an AAS in Global Travel and Hospitality Management, a BS in Business and Marketing, and is a Certified Travel Counselor. Most recently, she earned her MA in Teaching from Morningside University.

Heather’s passion for travel is matched only by her love for sharing the world’s rich history and spiritual heritage with others. Her pilgrim journeys have taken her through Italy, the Holy Land, Germany, Greece, and Turkey—experiences that have deepened her commitment to guiding others through transformative encounters with culture, faith, and place.

With a heart for hospitality and a teacher’s spirit, Heather strives to inspire curiosity, connection, and deeper understanding in all who travel with her. Her work reflects a lifelong dedication to exploring the world and walking alongside others as they discover it for themselves.
