Laura Makin is a New Englander turned Kentuckian with a love for college ministry, adventure and the theology of pilgrimage. She went on her first pilgrimage in 2018 and fell in love with the excitement, discomfort, and grace that comes with making a journey for God whether down the road or across the world. Laura has been blessed to serve as the Campus Minister for UofL Catholic for four years, and enjoys sharing life with such amazing young people who are so passionate about knowing and sharing the Faith!

Fr. John Baptist Hoang, O.P., is the Chaplain and Director of Catholic Campus Ministry at the University of Louisville. Fr. John Baptist also serves as an assistant chaplain for the Young Catholic Professionals Louisville Chapter, a board member of Life-Giving Wounds, and the subprior of the Dominican community at St. Louis Bertrand Priory. Fr. John Baptist has never been to France, but is looking forward to impressing the French people with his AP French skills from high school.
